The risk assessment was performed following the removal of the following services:
- Online Forum
- Private Messaging
- File upload via online forum message attachments
- Blog post commenting
An email mailing list was added to the service that has a closed group subscription list. It is not possible for a child to subscribe to this list because face-to-face, in-person verification is performed by at least one jeeptrek Fellow and the new user. Nobody can join jeeptrek without a personal invitation to do so.
The website was modified to include:
- A Complaints Policy and Complaint Form
- A Content Policy
- An updated Terms of Service
The OFCOM In-Scope checker was used to determine if a full risk assessment is required. The result was NO and is shown below.
The next risk assessment is due on 11 March 2026.

Comments on blog posts have been re-enabled as they are 100% moderated. Only jeeptrek Fellows can post comments. Comment posters have already been verified in-person as being adults over the age of 18.
